Big Black Cadillac are delighted that Dale "The Phantom" guitarist has decided to rejoin the band as we are gonna play fewer gigs this year and we welcome Dale's return.

Update 2011: We welcome Will Gates on slap bass. Will has a great background playing bass in various bands and genres.

Big Black Cadillac wish to thank the hugely talented Wayne Beauchamp (V8 Rumble) for being so cool and stepping in earlier this year to play lead guitar and then slap bass.

Would also like to thank the following bass players who have been really kind and helped us finish off this years gigs, thanks to Steve Medler (V8 Rumble), Wayne Beauchamp(V8 Rumble), Tim Gillies (Danny & the Seniors), Danny Reno (Danny & the Seniors) & Neil (The Leopard Trio), thanyou all so much.

Thanks for all the support over the last year it was a very positive and successful one, looking forward to continued fun throughout 2011!

Sadly our slap bassist Paul Syrett decided he wished to leave and persue ventures new and we wish Paul all the very best and thank him for all he has contributed to Big Black Cadillac over the years.
We have been askek so many times if we have an up to date album out so we are hopefully going to get into a local studio during Feb 2011 to record about 12 live tracks.
Well, 2010 has almost come to a close with just two gigs left this year. We have really enjoyed 2010 having played over 60 gigs and had the priviledge of playing at Camp Bestival on the same line up as Madness, Billy Bragg, Human League and DJ Mark Lamaar.
Well seems like 2009 is going same way, a shed load of gigs, what with our debut at Hemsby and playing the car cruise at Great Yarmouth with DJ Wildcat Pete. We have finally begun the work with regard to our new album of originals, which we were too busy to work on in 2008. Also 2008/2009 saw us joined by new drummer Dom. We'd like to wish our former drummer Adam Kirlew all the very best in whatever he does and say we are pleased Dom has joined us.
In 2008 Big Black Cadillac played around 80 gigs including A gig for Harley Davidson in Bisley in Surrey and a load of other great venues.

Also in 2008 a new album of modern styles is currently in rehearsal stages and gigs are coming in on a regular basis, so far playing on the bill with the Booze Bros and lined up for Hotwired and Worstead festival and the biker weekend in mundesley amongst the pub gigs.

2007 was very hectic gig wise having been on the bill with a variety of local bands inc Throb, Skaface, Hot Rockin', Check out the Chunk, Snuff Movie Stars and perfrorming at the Blue Moon rock'n'roll weekend and Luton rock'n'roll club as well as several local pubs and a nudist camp!. The second album, a local release only, a demo containing 12 originals in a variety of traditional rockin' styles, was made at Rhythmic Studio in Stalham.
Big Black Cadillac Rockabilly Band started in 2006 as a band to play classic Rockabilly material locally for fun. The first set was at The Jolly Farmers in Swanton Abbott (unless you count their set as the first band to play the blue moon on it's opening night with a first draught line up under the name "The Turbos"). Then made a demo of covers at Purple Studios in Norwich (titled "Got It Covered") and later supported The Fat Cats at The Ferry Boat in Norwich and played support to Rockabilly legends Darrel Higham and Slim Jim Phantom at The Waterfront in Norwich.
